farewell dear friend.

It's not that we haven't been busy, it's just me getting settled down to write.  We had an excellent Thanksgiving with Ron's foster brother and their family.  Good food and conversation.
Christmas hasn't started yet.  Well, maybe it has and is almost over.  Anyway, we got all new windows and doors for our mobile.  Tim is finishing up the trim work as I type.  We could feel the difference as soon as they were installed.  You see, we've hit a cold rainy snap in the weather.  They were putting chlorine on the overpasses yesterday to keep them from freezing overnight.
Today I lost a great human being.  Our times spent together was short but he fought a hard battle from the time when he was 18 and I found him slipping into a diabetic coma through kidney and pancreas transplant at 50 and bypass surgery a couple years ago.  He was my ex husband s brother and he was always my friend.  Farewell Jim, you can rest in His arms.
