Chris Constable

The table was set for the wedding. But somebody shot the bride.  Believe me when I say it could have been any of the wedding party and part of the audience.
Chris Constable the security guard at the wedding is ready to interview the wedding guests and declare the guilty party.
The groom and his brother.  Ain't they a pair.?
The matron of honor and jilted lover.

Groom watching Chris Constable put tape around the bride's body.

Chris Constable giving us the facts, just the facts.
The groom and other guests.

The mother of the groom.  No woman was good enough for her son.
It was a fun time and all the participants did a great job.

Pot Luck Tuesday

Day started out pretty good.  Up early, light breakfast and off to Coffee & Donuts at the Rec Hall.  They had a person from the Tucson Book Fair to speak.  She made it sound very interesting till she got to the part about where the fair was held.  University of Arizona Mall.  Middle of the campus during spring break.  It would be really nice to go.  There's going to be a slew of authors on site giving lectures and signing books and just talking to people.
Then back to the RV to empty it out and get this move finished.  First load didn't take long.  Turned out that was pretty much it.  Ron got my sewing supplies and machines back to the house but then decided he had to get the television to work.  (Don't ask).
I stayed home to make a bundt cake for the Pot Luck tonight.  It took a little longer than planned to get it put together so by the time it was suppose to be done we were going to miss the Tikki party at the pool.  Turned out we missed the pot luck too.  It seems my oven got turned off so the cake wasn't done on time.  By the time I found the problem, the pot luck was out too.  Had to cool the cake, check to make sure it was going to be edible and then put an icing on.
Hot dogs, pork n beans and cottage cheese for supper but a quiet time sitting outside discussing things and a slice of cake afterwards was just as good, almost.  We did miss sharing our meal with our friends but it was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of our new home.

Saturday Night

It's been quite a busy week.  Monday buying the new place and along with Tuesday getting all the paperwork in order for the move Wednesday.  Since Wednesday Ron has been putting stuff in boxes, driving them over to the house and I've been emptying them.  I can't see how we got so much stuff in the 5th wheel in just 8 years.  I can say that Jayco 33 ft 5th wheels have lots of storage space.  Ron is still bringing boxes over but we decided to take a break today and wrapped it up about 3 pm, put the house in order, got rid of a lot of empty boxes from the living room and declared the living room and kitchen to be livable.
Meanwhile the V8 Choppers pulled in today so our nice quiet corner of the world got a little noisy from taking the 3 wheeler out of the transporting trailer and parking the two of them in their cement floored shelters.  It didn't last long.and then the rest of the V8 ers came to the home and paid their respects to the heiress of Purple Oil.  A leisurely supper consisting of shrimp and sauce, caesar salad, steak, baked potato  with sour cream and butter and sauteed fresh mushrooms.
Tomorrow will be church and the Super Bowl and then back to getting the 5th wheel emptied out and out on the market for sale.

Moving Day

Today was the day.  We both woke up early anticipating the move to our new home.  Ron even took a walk up to the entrance to their part of the park but they were still home.  We ate a quick breakfast of cold cereal and a cup of coffee.
About 8:15 Jane called to tell us they were on the road and to enjoy our new home.  Ron jumped in the truck and drove over to start unloading what we had packed up last night.
I got ready for my knitting class and then walked up to see what it looked like since it was ours.  It was even more beautiful.  Off to knitting class I went with a promise from Ron he would pick me up at 11:30 am.  But alas it didn't work that way.  What 1 1/2 hours I was told it would take to finish up the sock turned into 3 hours and rushing out the door.
By then Ron had boxes and bags stacked in the different rooms they belonged in.  So off to work I went emptying shopping bags and boxes.  I can not believe how much we have in that 5th wheel but I do know we've got a lot more moving to do and the storage area is getting in short supply.
We are staying at the new place tonight and that turned out to be a hassle cause we kept forgetting things we needed to sleep and eat.  Small inconveniences kept popping up and Ron kept driving back and then walking back.  I just closed the door and locked it.  We're in for the night.
