To start off, it's a beautiful sunny summer day. Some would say it's a bit chilly at 69 degrees but I think it's close to perfect.
Today is one of my many brothers in law's birthday. Ron has provided me with enough to share and that's a good thing since I have no brothers or sisters. John and Pat spent this past weekend with us. To celebrate his birthday we (Pat and I) allowed John and Ron to chauffeur us and buy us dresses ( on sale) and then take us out for dinner. Actually it was only Saturday. On Sunday I cooked breakfast and then dinner after our shopping trip.
We enjoyed their company. Seems we never run out of things to talk about. Probably has something to do with the fact we were thousands of miles apart for twenty of the years. John is retired from the US Navy. He and his wife and son were in Okinawa, Bremerton, Washington and Walter Reed Army Hospital, Maryland.
