A great day today touring two of the missions Father Keno founded. San Xavier del bac is still an active church having mass every morning. It's been beautifully restore in the seven years we've been coming to AZ. The trip is far enough south (close to the Mexican border) that the distance is in kilometer instead of miles.

Tumacacori is pretty much in ruins now. It was invaded by the Mexicans and Indians during the periods after it's completion but still some of it's beauty still stands.
Some of the surrounding structure has been restored . Above is a view of me sitting on one of the many walkways. This picture was taken from that walk way.
