Wedding day plus one

We all survived yesterday and on a scale of one to ten it went very well.  9 at least.  It was a beautiful day, no humidity and gentle breezes.  Bright sunshine and no rain.  It was a long day.  Daughter and her husband got her hair appointment done early so they came down and waited for my Mary Kay lady, Judi Tapella.  Judi arrived on time in her new pink Cadillac SUV.  Nice car, her 18th new Cadillac.
Judi took the time and did my daughter and my makeup, a beautiful job she did.  Then I put out some ham and hard roles and fresh fruit for a quick lunch.  Daughter was supposed to be at the church by 1:30 pm for pictures.  While she and her husband were getting dressed, problem number one.  Husband didn't have a shirt.  Off to Target to buy one real quick.  In the mean time daughter left with Amber and Tim and Sam so she could get to the church on time.  Left Nick and Elie at our house to ride with us.  Son in law comes back and the shirt he bought is to small.  Back to Target.  We got dressed, loaded up Nick and Elie and headed for the church.  Made it early enough to be in some pictures before the service and son in law made it in time for the service.
There was a couple hours between the wedding and the reception so we came home and relaxed.  Sure glad we made that decision as we were ready to head to the reception and enjoy the evening.  Eric and Julie made a beautiful couple and will make beautiful babies.  Love being a grandma and having little ones around again.
